Game Watch/Food Drive
Attention all Purdue and IU Fans!! Want to see your team play? Want to help a great cause? Then come on down to Buffalo Wild Wings in Crown Point on Sunday, March 4th at 5pm to see the Purdue Boilermakers take on the IU Hoosiers in a basketball game not to be missed! The Purdue Alumni Club of Northwest Indiana along with the IU Alumni Association is hosting a food drive that will benefit our local food pantries. Bring in your canned goods and the winner of the event will be donating the proceeds the food pantry of their choice. So come on all of you Boilermaker Fans! Let’s help our team by winning both the game and the Food Drive Challenge! Remember its time to Boiler Up for a great cause!! Scholarship Application Now Available
The Purdue Club of Northwest Indiana would like to announce its 2012 scholarship applications are now available. Students who are high school seniors and plan to attend a Purdue campus in the fall of 2012 can apply for the PCNWI Book Scholarship ($600) while students who’ve already completed one year at a Purdue campus can apply for the Purdue Scholar Award ($1200). Students who are interested in applying for these scholarships can download the application on our scholarships page. Do not delay! The deadline for both scholarship applications is April 2, 2012.

PCNWI Fall Dinner with Leroy Keyes
If you are a Boilermaker fan and a football fanatic, you know the saying “Give the ball to Leroy.” What a great opportunity for to see the legendary Leroy Keyes. Leroy will share his stories about his years at Purdue and his time as an NFL player. Join us on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Teibel’s Restaurant (1775 US Highway 41, Schererville, IN 46375). The social hour begins at 6pm with dinner following at 7pm. Tickets are available for $20 in advance and $25 at the door. “Fried Rice”
Join the Purdue Club of Northwest Indiana, Purdue Alumni Calumet, and the Purdue Club of Chicago as we gather to watch the Boilermaker Football Team battle the Rice Owls on Saturday, September 10, 2011. The event will be held at Chicago Blu (19917 S. LaGrange Rd., Frankfort, IL 60423). Your admission fee of $10 gets you unlimited beer/wine/soda and pizza for four hours. Doors open at 2:00pm. Game starts at 2:30pm. Come out and join us wild Purdue fans as we cheer the Boilers to a victory!

Scholarship Winners
The Purdue Club of Northwest Indiana proudly announces the winners of its 2011 Book Scholarship. Book scholarship winners receive $600 to be used towards the purchase of textbooks. Applicants must reside in the Northwest Indiana area, meet scholastic requirements, and must attend any one of Purdue’s campuses statewide. The winners of this year’s scholarship are:
