Plan now to return to the field for Homecoming Alumni Band on Sept.27-28, 2013! We’ll celebrate the 50th anniversary of Purdue’s first Radio City appearance with a “Radio City” Half-time Show!

Schedule:
Friday, Sept. 27: Registration, music rehearsal & dinner
Saturday, Sept. 28: Drill rehearsal & Homecoming

Jazz alums return to the HILL in April

Mark your calendar – April 27 & 28, 2013!!  It’s again time for Alumni Jazz Band and the Chameleon Reunion Tour at Jazz on the Hill! 
   
 If you are interested in reliving your jazz experience at Purdue, you still have time to give shout out to Mo Trout.  Two rehearsals are planned for the Alumni Jazz Band – afternoon on Saturday, April 27, and late morning Sunday, April 28. There is also a Saturday night jam session and party, with Chameleon supplying the music and the energy, at Adelino’s restaurant and bar in downtown Lafayette. Adelino’s will donate 10% of all of the evening’s proceeds to the Purdue Jazz Department! 
   
Here’s the schedule:
Thursday, April 25: Chameleon arrives; dinner 6 p.m. place TBA; rehearsal at Slayter, 8-11 p.m. 
Friday, April 26: Chameleon activity TBA during day; evening rehearsal at Slayter.
Saturday, April 27: Alumni Jazz Band rehearsal 1-3 p.m. Slayter;  6-8 p.m. Alumni  jam session at  Adelino’s; 8 and 9:30 p.m. sets for Chameleon  at  Adelino’s.                         
Sunday, April 28:   Group Breakfast  TBA;  Alumni Jazz  Band rehearsal 12:30- 2 p.m.  Slayter ; 2:30 p.m. Jazz on the Hill

Heart of Dallas Bowl Activities

Hey Band!

If you’re planning to be in Dallas for the Heart of Dallas Bowl at the Cotton Bowl Stadium, don’t miss the Purdue Alumni events and AAMB Performances, beginning with The Battle of the Bands on December 31! Please register for the PAA tailgate TODAY!

Monday, Dec 31, 4:30pm: Pep Rally & Battle of the Bands at Klyde Warren Park
Tuesday, Jan 1, 10:39am: Purdue Band Pregame performance, historic Cotton Bowl Stadium
Tuesday, Jan 1, 11:00am: Kickoff. Boiler Up!!

Girl in Black Reunion Highlights Purdue Band Club Homecoming 2012

Homecoming 2012 will celebrate 50 years of the Girl in Black, one of the three unique twirling positions that have brought notoriety and sparkle to the “All-American” Marching Band.

All former Girls in Black, their family, friends and interested alums are invited to attend the celebratory banquet on Friday, Oct. 12, in the Spurgeon Club at Mackey Arena.

A tour of Mackey’s renovated facilities will be held at 6:30 p.m. for those interested. A cocktail hour will also start at 6:30 with dinner at 7:30. Girl in Black photos and memorabilia will be on display during the cocktail hour and those attending are encouraged to share items as well.

Registration for the event has ended. We look forward to seeing you there!
