The next get-together of the Purdue Alumni Club of Southwest Michigan will be held April 14 at the gateway to Stevensville — Exit 23 off of I-94. It’s going to be a work/pick-up session to beautify this important and highly visible area that greets travelers as they come into our area from the heavily-traveled interstate.

Purdue volunteers can sign up by calling the township office at 269-429-1589. Volunteers will then meet at the township office, 2055 W. John Beers Road, at 9 AM for a safety meeting, distribution of safety vests, trash bags, and assignments. Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age. Volunteers 12-17 years old must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older.
Please be sure to wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, hat, leather shoes or boots, and gloves. Remember to first sign-up by calling the township office at 269-429-1589 if you can attend. Come at 9 a.m. and stay as long as you like. We hope to see you!
